LUXURY TILING

Our Tiling department is a team of fully qualified, licensed, insured and experienced tilers – all united in their passion for creating living spaces and bathrooms of exceptional quality.

Personalized service is a key feature of tiling work, working closely with clients from concept to completion. Whether your vision ranges from opulent luxury to city-chic – or anything else inside or outside the box – our goal is to deliver the project on time and on budget. We specialize in bespoke high quality tile installations of residential bathrooms & kitchens, wet-rooms, conservatories, hallways, swimming pools and spas.

Also in commercial installations such as car show rooms, shop floors, night clubs and restaurants, commercial kitchens and rest rooms. Tiling installations can be carried out using the following materials: ceramic, porcelain and natural stones such as travertine and limestones.

We can cut any size of tile, into any shape with our computer guided industrial cutter. If requested we can polish stone tile edges to match the polished surface of the tile, create custom made stone skirtings and finishes. Any bespoke requests and requirements can be met and carried out to a high standard, resulting in installations that will simply leave the competition standing!

OUR STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT

STEP 1

Provide proof of ownership of land (copies of site plan, indenture, land title)

STEP 2

Arrange for viewing of land/locating land

STEP 3

Client to submit Architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings (if not available, SCOWN will assist in providing these documents)

STEP 4

Submitting drawings to a qualified Quantity Surveyor (this process is to identify the cost involved to build the design that has been chosen. And also to indicate all the fixed and variable cost such as labor, management, interior construction, transportation and waste management.

STEP 5

Signing of the construction agreement with SCOWN which will identify our charges. Charges usually range from 20% to 30% of the development costs.

STEP 6

A work schedule/program will be created, which matches a payment plan and the time length for the entire project phases.

STEP 7

Moving to site to begin site preparation and first phase of construction of the foundation. The rest of the construction phases will be completed after this process.

During the entire process of the project, SCOWN will send via E-mail/whatsapp messages, daily updates in terms of progress on the site, construction excel spreadsheet to identify works being done, videos and images, and weekly discussions with the project manager will be arranged.
